Game, set, love - the tennis court setting
Some settings are created because they are beautiful.
The tennis court setting at Love Rocks was one of those ideas that started as a little spark — playful, graphic, slightly unexpected — and slowly turned into one of the most iconic scenes of the day.
A tennis court is not the first place you might think of when you imagine wedding inspiration. And that was exactly why I loved it. It brought something fresh to the story. Something less obvious. A little sporty, a little nostalgic, a little “old money summer,” but with a modern editorial edge.
Think white lines, green tones, rackets, pearls, structured silhouettes, soft romance and just the right amount of drama.
For me, this setting was never about creating something that looked like a themed shoot. It was about taking the world of tennis — its elegance, its rhythm, its graphic lines — and translating it into a wedding atmosphere. Something stylish, but still soft. Playful, but still refined. Editorial, but never cold.
The court became more than a backdrop. It became part of the story.
I love settings that allow a couple to move, to play, to forget the camera for a moment. Because yes, the styling matters. The location matters. The concept matters. But in the end, it is always about the people inside the frame.
The court gave us strong lines, beautiful contrast and a very clear visual identity. But the softness came from the in-between moments. The way they looked at each other. The little smiles. The movement. The feeling of summer, freedom and a love story that did not take itself too seriously.
The tennis court reminded me once again why I love building these settings so much.
Not to copy what everyone else is doing.
Not to create another perfect Pinterest moment.
But to make space for something with personality.
Something that feels a little different.
A little bold.
A little playful.
A love game, but make it editorial.
